Riek Wesseling | A Portrait in Black and White
This 1984 volume features the work of Dutch graphic artist Riek Wesseling who dedicated her oeuvre to the exploration of the full tonalities of black and white graphic media. The reproductions in this book include drawings, lithographs, and dry point prints - many of the drawings were later used for small editions of etchings. Written in Dutch by Ingrid van Delft with an English translation. 119pp.
Wesseling's work has been included in various exhibitions at Mathias Fine Art since 1991 and is part of several museum collections, among them are the following Dutch institutions: Henriette Polak Museum, Zutphen, Joods Historisch Museum, Amsterdam and Teylers Museum, Haarlem.
