RELIEF – an exploration

exhibition dates: through September 29

gallery hours: Wed-Sun 12-5

Mathias Fine Art is pleased to present RELIEF – an exploration. Works by ten artists from New England and New York have been brought together to form an exciting display of different approaches to employing relief elements in sculpture, painting, ceramics and mixed media works on paper.

Shown on the right: Antoinette Prien SchultzeDressed Torso”  20.5 x 10 x 10”, granite, glass, steel.  The artist comments thus on her work: “My Dressed Torso is a sensually feminine expression of a female dressed in her finery. The clothes one wears can change ones outlook.”
